Hoodia and certifications
Organics Annex Certificate
The farmhouses where this plant is grown have all met the requirements for USDA Organic certification.
What this indicates to you is that there are no middle men who could possibly add filler or decrease the quality of our Hoodia so you always get the best possible quality on hand.
The product is fresh and is not sitting around in storage space for months on end; the farms in which our Hoodia is grown are all certified and the Hoodia they make is tested repeatedly. This proves that you receive more effectiveness per mg of hoodia, making it more effective at lowering your appetite for quicker weight loss.
Cites Certificate (CITES)
The Cites Certificate is one of the most significant credential when buying Hoodia. An authentic CITES certificate is testimony that you are buying genuine Hoodia Gordonii. This certificate is issued when Hoodia originates from known farms in South Africa.
Hoodia Gordonii is in short supply, rare. Owing to years of over crop and demand, it is now considered as an in danger of extinction species. For this reason there are so many limitations and checks in place… to make certain the plant is protected from being wiped out.
The CITES certificate is a way of protecting it. This is an worldwide agreement between governments that regulates the use and export of Hoodia across the whole of the globe.
These limitations are firm. Once companies obtain a CITES certificate – granting them authorization to export Hoodia from South Africa – they must do it in 6 months. If they linger beyond this 6 months limit, they must reapply. It is these limitations that have enforced us to remove our 12 month package limit each buyer to just 6 boxes per order.
Certificate of Analysis (COA)
The certificate of analysis is the authentic evidence that what we have is 100% pure Hoodia and nothing else. This certificate is issued proceeding to entrance into the country. This proves that random samples were tested under HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) and also checks for other things like bacteria.
If there was ever an issue the product would never even make it into the country, as one of the main things this test is looking for is the amount/presence of P57 (The active substance in Hoodia Gordonii).
